The Mystery of Crystal Skulls
Since 1927, thirteen Crystal Skulls have been found throughout the world (United States, Britain, Paris, Guatemala, Honduras, and so on) although they originated from Mexico, Brazil, Central and South America, Mongolia and Tibet. The majority are kept in museums, and some are kept in private collections (they’ve got to be pricey - bet you’d have to be a Rockefeller to afford one.)
The skulls resemble those of humans, vary in colour, size and gender. The Mayans believed that the crystals had healing properties, and invoked spiritual powers.
