Using Solar Rock Lights in Your Garden Lighting Scheme
If you are the type of person who likes things simple in the house and in the garden, solar crystal fairies and porcelain bunny solar lights will probably not be up your street. And if it so happens that you have a disdain for things that look mechanical as well, the standard solar lights won't do for you either.
For a person with simple tastes solar rock lights are ideal for garden lighting
Luckily enough solar light makers have always had persons like you in mind. They are producing simulation rocks into which a solar panel and a LED lamp are embedded. The gadget is placed in an area in your lot that receives plenty of sunlight. Most of them are equipped with a light intensity detector which makes their lamps turn themselves on when it gets dark enough in the late afternoons. They also go off when it is light. So the very minute that you come home after purchasing one of them, you ought to look for a suitable place for it in your garden, prop it up and leave it there. Solar rock lights can come in a typical gray color. They may also be made to resemble moss-grown rocks, sun-bleached rocks or rocks into which letters have been carved. Others look like stones that have been painted with floral patterns. You may also encounter solar rock lights with 'Welcome' etched into it. Those are suitable for placing on your front porch.
If you are hesitant about using ornate solar lights for your garden lighting project you should look into solar rock lights. They provide the same functionality as normal solar lights with the additional feature of your being able to camouflage them easily.
